We've spent the last few weeks on our favourite kind of work: making the game better. Sex Tasks now has a fresh look, a new logo and – most importantly – better tasks. Here's what's new.
A look you'll be happy to open
The whole game is lighter, cleaner and more discreet: soft purple and pink, rounded cards, easy-to-read type and a subtle pattern of playing-card symbols in the background. Elegant enough to open on the sofa next to your partner.
- A new logo: a round emblem with a flame and a heart at its center – passion, play and closeness, which is what Sex Tasks has always been about.
- A clearer game list: coloured badges show each game's state at a glance, and the little “i” tells you how many tasks you've already completed.
- A nicer task card: instructions read like a paper card, the YES and NO buttons stand out and a new progress bar shows how far you've come.
- A new how-to guide: step by step, with screenshots, so newcomers find their way in no time.
- Made for your phone: everything adapts to small screens, you can take your profile photo straight with your phone's camera, and you can add the game to your home screen and open it like an app.
- Messages became a chat: talk to other players in real conversations – and see when your message has been read.
Tasks: rewritten, sharpened, consistent
Tasks are the heart of the game, so that's where most of our care went.
- 1,400+ tasks rewritten: out of our 2,100 tasks, we've rewritten more than 1,400 so they're clearer, more tempting and leave no guesswork.
- In English and Czech: all 2,100 tasks are available in both languages.
- Quality-checked: every task has been through a new quality check – player counts, timers, points and instructions all add up.
- Your toys count: when you set up a new game, tick the toys you have at hand and the tasks that use them are unlocked.
A game we write together
Did you know that 108 tasks in the game were originally written by players? You've sent us more than 250 ideas so far, we're working through them – and more new tasks are on the way.
